Funeral Rites Are Held For Mrs. Cook

Funeral services for Mrs. Isabella Dobson Cook, 63, who died at her home at Lapoint, January 4, were held Saturday, January 10, at the Lapoint Ward Chapel under the direction of Bishop Lee Walker.

Prayer at the home was given by Orville Swain invocation at the services by Bishop Walker and benediction by Davis Morrill speakers were Bishop LeRoy Morrill, Bishop Walker, and Lawrence Caldwell.

The following musical numbers were presented: "Farewell All Earthly Honors", "There Is Sweet Rest In Heaven" Lapoint Ward Choir; "Just A-Wearying For You" Dorothy Luck "Wonderful Mother Of Mine" Cynthia and Rex Taylor accompaniment by Mrs. Dawn Huber.

Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery at Maeser.

The grave was dedicated by Jerry Rich. Pallbearers were Mrs. Cook's two sons Orlando and Darvel, two brothers George and Nolin Dobson, and two sons-in-law Frank Lee and Dallas Green.

Mrs. Cook was born December 8, 1884 at Kanab, a daughter of Thomas and Amanda Dobson.

She and Benjamin Cook were married June 22, 1902 at Circleville.

The couple had eight children, five of whom survive.

She is survived by her husband; two sons: Orlando and Darvel Cook, Lapoint; three daughters: Mrs. Isabell Lee, Mrs. Norma Green, and Mrs. Melva Dot Caldwell, all of Vernal; three sisters: Mrs. Annie Alexander, Mrs. Pearl Romine, and Mrs. Josephine Bird, Circleville; four brothers: Thomas Dobson, McGill, Nev; George and Nolan Dobson, Circleville; Darvle Dobson, Sacramento, Calif; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
