Melvina "Mel" Clark, 74, of Boulder City died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 23, 1923, in Lemington, Utah. A resident for 60 years, she was a member of the Lakeview Ward LDS Church and former president of the Ladies Golf Association.
She is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Swope of Las Vegas; two sons, Raymond Clark of Kanab, Utah, and James Clark of Casper, Wyo.; four sisters, Rosina White of Cucamongo, Calif., Gwen Chubbs of Lompoc, Calif., Belva Mauchley of West Point, Utah; and Dency Carrattinni of Modesto, Calif.; three brothers, Alden C. Stout of Beaumont, Texas, Nathan Stout of Henderson and Phillip Stout of California; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the LDS Chapel on Buchanan Avenue at Gingerwood Street, Boulder City. Services follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the Boulder City Cemetery.
