NORTON (Sparta) Eleanor Ellen Boros Norton age 90 passed away peacefully on July 28, 2011 at Christian Rest Home with her family at her side. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Boros in 1955, LaVern Norton in 1982; son in law, Melvin J. Ignasiak in 1996. She was employed for many years in the office of Sparta Foundry, was in Food Services at Sparta Area Schools, worked at Spartan Graphics, as well as the Secretary of State. She was a Life member of Peace Lutheran Church and did the Sunday Collection Posting for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Ignasiak; son, William and Carol Boros; 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; many step grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; brother, Alfred and Margaret Nelson; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 11:00 A.M. at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Bryan Schneider-Thomas officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Sparta. Friends may meet the family at the Funeral Home on Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. and at the Church on Tuesday one hour prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Peace Lutheran Church.
