Mr. Americus Smith died at his home in Louisville last Friday and the remains were taken to Custer Saturday for burial. Funeral services were conducted in the Methodist Church Sunday morning. Mr. Smith is survived by his widow and several children.

The grave is unmarked. Americus Smith is buried to the immediate left of where Jerry Allen is interred.
