Eunice Emma Beller Quade McKinley "got her wings" on June 12, 2012.

She was born on July 3, 1918, in Columbia Falls to Ethel and Everett Beller. She was one of six children and graduated from Whitefish High School in 1935.

She was a mother of five children and two stepchildren, a grandmother to 15, great-grandmother to numerous, and a loving heart to all.

Throughout her career as a mother and homemaker, she worked as a secretary for Operating Engineers. She was a very generous, loving, strong-willed woman who cared more for others' happiness than her own.

Eunice's first husband, Melvin W. Quade, whom she married in the late '30s, was killed in a logging accident in 1948. A few years later, she married Charles McKinley, who passed in 1994.

She loved to travel and went to Europe twice, Japan once and Hawaii four times. Eunice and her husband, "Charlie," also spent much time traveling throughout the U.S. in their motor home in the '80s and the early '90s.

She was a member of the Central Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Kalispell, and was active in a women's Bible study and the Christian Women's Club for many years.

Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, gardening, baking and being surrounded by her many beloved friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands; her parents; two brothers; two sisters; and one daughter, Joyce Ethel Quade, who died in 2004.

Eunice is survived by four children, Aaron Quade, Judy Quade, Mark McKinley and Aice Neddo; and two stepchildren, Ben McKinley and Janice Tauscher; one brother, Russell Beller; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She leaves behind a legacy of strong will, hard work and love for miles.

"We love you and can't wait to see you someday. We will carry your love and wonderful memories in our hearts forever."

A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 18, at Central Christian Church, 240 Second Ave. E., Kalispell, with burial immediately afterward at Glacier Memorial Gardens in Kalispell.
