Jacob Alango Of Amasa Dies
Jacob Alango, 81, of Amasa died Thursday.
He was born at Ilmajoki, Vassan Laani, Finland, and came to Amasa in 1905. He was married to the former Edla Lahti of Wakefield in 1928. He was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church of Amasa and of the Ironwood Knights of Kaleva.
Surviving are his wife, two children and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Amasa Bethany Lutheran Church with the Rev. Wilbert Ruohomaki officiating.
