Doris Abbley, age 86 and a resident of Pass Christian, died Friday, March 11, 2005, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Abbley was a native of Pass Christian, and was a hairdresser for 40 years.
Mrs. Abbley was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Anthony Abbley; and her parents, Horace Spradley and Ruth McDonald Spradley. Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Yetter, of Long Beach; and Joan Abbley Lopez, of Greenville, Indiana; one sister, Mrs. Earl "Tee Wee" Sellier, Sr., of DeLisle; grandchildren, Barton Kreeger, Brian Kreeger, Clyde Kreeger, Jill Lopez, and Joseph Lopez, Jr., and great-grandchildren, Katrina Kreeger, Anthony Kreeger, Jordan Kreeger, Elyse Kreeger, Amy Crane, Marie Hall, Alexandra Ordonez, Art Ordonez, and Eric Ordonez; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. today, Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at Riemann Funeral Home in Pass Christian, where friends may call after 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery in Pass Christian.
