Passed away June 17, 2012 at the age of 84. Isaac was born June 14, 1928 in Moulton, AL to the late Frank and Dollie (Heflin) Haynes. Isaac was united in marriage to Maggie "Sue" Tucker on January 15, 1949, who survives. Ike was employed with Prab Industry for 20 years as a welder-fabricator. He also worked at the State Theater as a doorman for several years. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, where he served as an usher. He loved spending time with his wife and family, and he was always ready to watch a good western. He loved fishing and hunting. Ike is also survived by his children, Jane Cole of Plainwell, Jeff (Tonja) Haynes of Climax and Vicki (Marc) Henry of Mattawan; ten grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two brothers; and one sister. He also leaves behind many friends and family who knew him as
"Papa Ike". Also preceding Ike in death was a son-in-law, Thomas Cole; four brothers and two sisters. Family will greet friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., where services will take place Thursday at 1:00 o'clock. A private interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Plainwell. Memorials in Isaac's name may be directed to the Trinity Baptist Church, Building Fund.
