She was the retired department manager for Montgomery Ward in Charleston.

She was a 1930 graduate of Pax high School. She was a member of the Long Branch Methodist Church.

Her husband, Marshall Holstein; four brothers, John, Alfred, Eddie and Homer Aliff: and a sister, Pansie Hall, preceded her in death.

Survivors include one brother, Lacy "Sut" Aliff and wife Joan, of Okeechobee, Fl; three sisters, Madge Weeks of Paz, Jean Humphrey and husband, Ralph of Ripley, and Patsy Parisean and husband Kenneth of Radcliff, Ky.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
