Born September 12, 1924 in Pax, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Lizzie Milam Aliff.
Madge was the oldest person in Pax where she spent her entire life. She was a member of the Pax Reunion Committee, was a graduate from Pax High School, and was President of the Pax Farm Women's Club. She ran the Log Cabin in Pax from September 1953 until the late 80's. She will be deeply missed.
Preceding her in death were husbands, Claude Hubbard and Jack Weeks; her partner of many years, Bentley Humphrey; brothers, Eddie, Alfred, Jack, Homer, and Lacy Aliff; sisters Pearl Holstein and Pansy Hall; grandson, Justin Hubbard; and granddaughter, Lori Weeks.
Survivors include sisters, Patsy Parisean and husband, Ken of Radcliff. KY. and Jean Humphrey and husband, Ralph of Ripley; sons, Kenny Hubbard of Dry Ridge, KY. and Jack Weeks of Mount. Hope; daughter, Jill Canterbury and husband, Patrick of Pax, WV; many grandchildren; and one special grandson, Larry Maynor, Jr. who helped care for her.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope, Burial will follow at Pax Community in Pax.
