Wilbur Gene Glover, 70 of Star City, died Sunday at his home.
He was born April 27, 1942 in Cornerville, AR to the late Eddie and Elline Bennett Glover.
He was a member of Glendale Church of Christ and was a logger for Murray Logging and Newton Logging for many years.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded by a brother; Robert Glover, sister; Lynda Glover and grandson; Jared Barnett.
Survivors include his loving wife; JoAnn Settles Glover of Star City, his mother; Elline Appling Glover of Star City, 3 sons; Gerald Glover, Jackie Glover and Timothy Jolly, all of Monticello, 2 daughters; Angela Barnett and Angela Murray, both of Star City, 3 brothers; Dewayne Glover and Gary Glover, both of Star City and David Glover of Batesville, 1 sister; Rita Jackson of Star City, 7 grandchildren; Hunter Barnett, Ashley Locke and Samantha Barnett, Starlet Campbell, Lagenea Bailey, Michael Campbell and Melissa Dixon, 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral Services are 4:00PM Thursday at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Gid Walters officiating.
Visitation is from 7:00-9:00PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial at Newton Chapel Cemetery.
