Margie Petty Anderson, age 82, passed away August 5, 1997 in Salt Lake City.
She was born January 13, 1915 in Rockville, Utah, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Mariah Demill Petty. She married James Albert Jones; they were later divorced. She later married Virgil Anderson.
After having raised her own children, she raised four of her grandchildren because of a tragic accident that took their parents. She had a special love for her family and her dogs, Twinkie and Snowball.
She is survived by her husband, Virgil; son, Dennis Jones; daughter, Erma Jones Solt; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; sisters, Rena And Zella; brother, Duane. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Ronald and Jerry Jones; daughter, Doreen Anderson; four brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, August 9, 1997, at 11 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at Redwood Memorial Estates.
