Funeral services for Frank Kubicek, 80, of 924 E. Vine St., Owatonna, were held Saturday at 10 a. m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Donald Halloran officiating at the Requiem Mass.

Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Mr. Kubicek died last Wednesday afternoon at the Owatonna Nursing Home. He was born June 2, 1883. Mr. Kubicek served in the Army and took part in the Philippine invasion during the period 1906-1909.

Survivors include his wife, Frances, one son, Victor of Owatonna, two daughters, Mrs. George (Frances) Krahulec of Owatonna and Mrs. Floyd (Georgia) Wilkie of Austin, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Joe Styndal of Bixby and Mrs. Frank Jirousek of Faribault.
