A native of Tyrone and life resident of Iowa, Mrs. Wilson was born July 26, 1897, daughter of William F and Catherine Powell Craig. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church here and was married November 24, 1919 to Walter C Wilson.
Mrs. Wilson was a past senior vice-president of the auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving besides her husband are five daughters, Mrs. John Kalainoff of Denver, Mrs. Rudy Petra of 1120 Longfellow Ave, Mrs. Charles Uecker of 716 Wisconsin St, Mrs. Donald Lund of Schenectady, New York and Miss Lois Wilson at home.
There are also one son Walter C Jr. at home, nine grandchildren, two brothers W J Craig of 528 Barclay St and James Monmouth, Illinois as well as four sisters, Mrs. A M Sheehan, Mrs. William Bagley and Miss Anna Craig all of Albia and Mrs. James F Clark 1014 West 11th St. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brother and three sisters.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hanna Veronica Wilson, 56, of 623 North Barclay St., who died of carcinoma Monday, will be Friday at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rev Raphael Grahl will officiate and burial will be at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The body will be taken from O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home to the family residence Thursday morning. The Rosary Society of St. Mary's Church will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the family home to recite the rosary.
