When younger Mr. and Mrs. Craig lived on neighboring farms at Tyrone, Iowa. Mrs. Craig, the former Miss Theresa Flattery, was married to William Carney in Melrose, Iowa who died about six years ago. Four years ago, she was married to Charles Craig, whose first wife, the former Lelia Wyzard, also had died six years ago. The children were all sons and daughters of Charles and Lelia Craig who were left motherless six years ago.
The four youngest children were put to bed Saturday by neighbors without being told of the second and greatest tragedy to strike their home.
The children at home were Ellen and Evelyn (twins) 12, Charles 13, and Anna Mary 15. John 17 was away from home and the oldest Mrs. James L Finn 423 Falls Avenue.
Also, surviving Mr. Craig are the following brothers and sisters; William Craig 528 Barclay Street North; Mrs. Guy Stevens Albia, Iowa; James Craig Monmouth, Illinois; Mrs. William Bagley 520 ½ Lafayette Street; Mrs. W. C. Wilson 123 Gable Street; Mrs. Alex Sheehan Albia. His father W. F. Craig also lives in Albia. His mother and five brothers and sisters are dead.
