Amanda's 1st husband and father to all of her children was William Barckdall. They were married around 1835. After she was widowed (between 1853-59) she married her 2nd husband Hiram Mackley on July 24, 1859 in Jefferson Co., Indiana. She was widowed on March 19, 1877. She then married her 3rd husband, Robert "Brank" Henry Jr, on July 30, 1882 in Marion Co., Indiana (book 17, page 569). Robert was her son-in-law's father.

Amanda and William Barckdall had the following children, oldest to youngest: Linus, Daniel, Percivale/Perciville B, Amanda "Angeline" (Barckdall) Wright Henry, William M and Benjamin S "Benny"

Her death certificate lists the cause of death as Paralysis (vol C6, page 260, cert 26013)
