TERRE HAUTE — Theresa Ann "Annie" Pair, 76, of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday,
Nov. 18, 2010, at 5:52 p.m., at Southwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, after a long
battle with bone cancer. She was born Oct. 31, 1934, in Terre Haute, to Charles
Galloway and Mary Norton Galloway.
Annie was a graduate of Garfield High School. She was a homemaker, who had also
assisted on a special needs bus, and had been a caregiver. She had been a member of
the Elks Club's Ladies Auxiliary, and of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed
dancing, socializing, bowling, golfing and boating.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Lee Pair, who passed
away Nov. 29, 2007; her brothers, Charles Galloway, Bill Galloway, Dudley Galloway,
Jerry Galloway, Bud Galloway, and Paul Galloway; and her sisters, Mary Biggs,
Josephine Biggs, Ginger Watts, and Betty Ritchie.
She is survived by her sons, Larry Pair and wife Linda of Florida, Bryan Pair and wife
Brenda, Jeff Pair and Debbie, Mike Pair and wife Jocene, all of Terre Haute; her former
daughter-in-law, Donnietta Elmore; a brother, Robert Galloway of Norfolk, Va.; 18
grandchildren, Cydney Pair, Brooke Pair, Bryan Pair, Laura O'Neal, Ciara Pair, Betsy
Beckner, Adam Pair, Adrianna Pair, Mike Pair Jr., George Pair, Eddie Pair, Toni D'Auria,
Danielle Woods, Ryan Timmeron, Erin Kennedy, Brittany Slater, Jeremy Slater and Travis
Creech; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at 11 a.m., at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N.
13th St., with visitation today from 4 to 7 p.m., and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service
