Josephine F. Biggs, 91, Terre Haute, passed away Oct. 29, 2008, at the Clay County Health Center, Brazil.
She was born Feb. 14, 1917, the daughter of Charles E. Galloway and Mary (Norton) Galloway.
She married Wayne Biggs. He preceded her in death.
Josephine retired from JC Penny as a clerk. She was also a homemaker, a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, St. Patrick's Altar Society.
Survivors include daughter Waynan Noel and husband Denton, Center Point, grandchildren Gene Curtis Beyers, Terre Haute, Kimberly Konecny, Brazil, and Stephen Raymond Beyers, Elwood City, Pa., great-grandchildren Garrett Beyers, Kyle Konecny, Emma Konecny and Joshua Barnett, brother Robert Galloway, Norfolk, Va., sisters Ginger Watts, Terre Haute, and Annie Pair, Terre Haute, and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Her parents, several brothers and sisters and husband preceded her in death.
Visitation will be Monday, from 4-8 p.m., at Thomas Funeral Home. There are no funeral services scheduled. Burial will be Wednesday at the Mission Cemetery, San Antonio.
