Ira Wesley Mumma, 81, of Burnt Cabins, Fulton County, died Monday evening, October 13, 1986, at the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg.

Born April 7, 1905, in Burnt Cabins, he was the son of John and Myrtle (Gallagher) Mumma. He was united in marriage to Dorothy (Rix) Mumma, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Betty Knowles of Virginia; two sons, Jim Mumma and Dick Mumma, both of Burnt Cabins; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a twin sister, Irene brown of Burnt Cabins. one son, Wesley R. Umma, preceded him in death.

Mr. Mumma was of the Methodist faith. He had worked for AT&T and owned a service station, and he was a retired employee from the Pennsylvania Turnpike. He was a member of Mount Zion F&AM Lodge 774, McConnellsburg.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. in Friday, October 17, at the Kelso Cornelius Funeral Home, McConnellsburg. The Rev. Terry Sheldon will officiate and interment will be made in Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. Family members will be received friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Masonic services will begin at the funeral home at 8:45 p.m. tomorrow.
