BOGALUSA n Alma Pittman Miley, 92, a native of Marion County, MS and a
lifelong resident of Bogalusa died last Friday at Bogalusa Community Medical Center.
She was a charter member of Terrace Missionary Baptist Church where she taught
Sunday school and was active in Church Ladies Bible Class.
She is survived by two sons, Lonnie Miley and his wife Shandra of Bogalusa and
Reubin Miley and his wife Evelyn of Sun; and numerous grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews
and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband B.J. Miley and brothers and sisters.
The funeral was yesterday at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home with the Revs. Billy
Ray Hines, Eddie Hartfield and Glay Galloway officiating.
Interment was in Hillview Memorial Gardens.
