Mr. Baker, who passed on June 1, 2012 after a short brief illness was born August 8, 1947 in Rentz, Georgia. Mr. Baker outlived his father, Hubert Baker. He was educated in the Rochester, New York City School System. He was a faithful employee of the former Bassett Furniture of Dublin, GA for 29 years. Later he was employed by Goodwill where he recently retired.
Mr. Baker leaves to cherish his wonderful memories his loving wife, Pearlie Jean Baker of Dublin, GA his mother, Lizzie M. Naker of Rochester, New York, one daughter, Erica Brazeal of Rentz, three sons, Harold T. (Renee) Moore, Sr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Nevin Baker of Orlando, Florida and Derrick Baker of Rentz,one stepdaughter, Michelle (Jerome) Coney of Dublin one stepson, Willie (Diane) Spikes of Tallahassee, Florida, one brother, Hubert Baker, Jr. of Rochester, New York one aunt, Loner (Artis) Carter of Rochester, New York, one sister-in-law, Mattie (Willie) Henderson of Dublin eight grandchildren, eleven step grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
