LaClair, Maynard J. - Utica — Maynard J. LaClair, 65, of Historical Park Apartments, Utica, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 1986, at his residence. He was born in Ellenburg Center on Aug. 28, 1921, the son of Eli and Edna (Trombley) LaClair. In 1943, he married Eva Harris. Mr. LaClair and his wife moved to Utica in 1957, where they have since resided. He was employed by the Mutual Board Co. for 19 years before his retirement. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church. Survivors include his wife, Eva; five daughters, Andrea Auregema of Schuyler; Jacklyn Gurdo and Bolita Gaeta, both of Utica; Karen Arrigo of Ilion; Christine Artessa of Utica; a son, Maynard R. LaClair of Schuyler; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Ula Smith; two brothers, Orid LaClair of Ellenburg Center, Floyd LaClair of Port Crane; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held at the Eannace Funeral Home on Friday and a mass of Christian burial at St. Anthony's Church. Burial was in St. Agnes Cemetery. Press-Republican, September 25, 1986
