LaClair, Lawrence - Ellenburg Man Fatally Injured in Fall. Lawrence LaClair, 60, was dead on arrival at the Physicians Hospital October 27 when taken there by Drown's Ambulance after a fall down stairs in his home. He died from a skull fracture. He was born in Ellenburg Center February 26, 1911, a son of Eli and Edna (Trombly) LaClair, Mr. LaClair is survived by his wife, the former Electa Whalen, two sons, three daughters, also ten grandchildren and his maternal grandmother, Amelia Trombly. Funeral services were heldSaturday morning, Oct. 30th at 10 A.M. in St. Edmund's Church in Ellenburg. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Francis Barcomb, Leo and Cordon Tourville, Martin Gregory, Harold Carter, and Sylvester Silver. Chateaugay Record, November 11, 1971
