He was born on December 11, 1917 in Watertown, Wis., the son of Theodore and Clara (Staabs). He married Sarah (Sally) Milos on January 24, 1948 in Havana, Ill.
Survivors include his wife; two stepsons, Frank Frederick, Lewiston, Ill., and Clyde Frederick, Cuba, Ill.; six step-grandchildren and six step-great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Helen Horton, Lodi.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
He retired in 1981 from Allied Mills, Bartonville, Ill. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a lifetime member of the Lewiston VFW post, a member of the Pekin Eagles Lodge and a member of St. Peter's Catholic church, Beaver Dam, Wis.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 5 at Henry Memorial Home, Lewiston, Father Robert O'Connor officiating. Burial was in the Oak Hill cemetery, Lewiston. Memorials can be made to the Fulton County Cancer Society. He was buried on 5 Mar 1985 in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lewistown, Fulton, IL.
