Samaritan Center. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and Altar
Sodality and the Lodi American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by two daughters, Diane (Dean) Slark, and Donna (Ron) Ebert; four sons, Gerald (Pam) Kokesh, Kenneth (Nancy) Kokesh, Robert (Bonnie) Kokesh, and David (Michelle) Horton; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Albert Kokesh, and Ottis Horton; a son, Stephen Kokesh; a grandson, James Dean Slark; a great-granddaughter, Katelyn Herbrand; five brothers, Michael, Thomas, Joseph, Frank and Walter Glassman; and, three sisters, Martha Nagler, Margaret Nehmer, and Mary Glassman.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Oct. 25, 2000 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Father Kenneth E. Klubertanz officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association for research or to St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Encore Senior Living, Prairie du Sac, for the excellent and compassionate care given to Helen. She was buried on 25 Oct 2000 in St. Patrick's Church Cemetery, Lodi, Columbia, WI.
