Cecil R. Curtis Dies
Whitefish--Cecil R. Curtis, 66, died at his home three miles southeast of Whitefish Thursday. Mr. Curtis was born April 13, 1903, at Red Lodge. He had attended schools and spent his early life at Poplar, and later engaged in farming there.
May 23, 1926, he was married to Ella Bell Cao at Bainville. The couple continued to live at Poplar until 1932 when they moved to Whitefish. Mr. Curtis was employed in the mechanics department for the Great Northern Railway until his retirement April 15 of this year. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by his widow, Ella Bell, at home; one son, Lee Curtis; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Kubes and five grandchildren, all of Whitefish; and one brother, Oliver Curtis of Menominie Falls, Wis.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Austin chapel at 10 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be in Whitefish cemetery.
