Son of Green F. and Mary Anderson Rawls/Rolls Daniel. Husband of Elsie Payne Daniel. Father of Alvis Watt Jr. and William Green Daniel. Also a daughter, Mary Louise Daniel McCollum. Was the proprietor of a hardware store in Madison, NC., and was state highway maintenance superintendent for Rockingham Co. "Watt" was killed in an automobile accident. His wife Elsie was buried at Woodland Cemetary in Madison, NC by the children, though Watt and Elsie will always be united in spirit. (Note: Watt was a direct descendant of Patrick Henry through his mother.)
