Cause of death: Enlargment of liver

Death of Mrs. Theresa Wenzel.
After an illness of nearly three months, the greater part of which time she was confined to her bed, Mrs. Theresa Wenzel died at her home, No. 43 Augustus street shortly after midnight last night. She had been a kind and loving parent and sister, and one who was very well liked in the neighborhood in which she had lived for nearly 20 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Justina and five sons, Fred, George, Gustavo, William and Carl, all of this city, also one brother and one sister in Germany, also two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Bachman and Mrs. Sophie Englert and two brothers, Fred Steigerwald and Anton Steigerwald of this city to all of Whom will be extended the sincere sympathy of their many friends in their affliction.
The funeral will take place Saturday at 8:45 with services at §t. Alphonsus' church at 9:30. Burial will be made in St. Joseph's cemetery.
