Mrs. Herndon, a resident of Kerrville since 1941 and a prior resident of Leon Springs, was born July 24, 1919, in Palestine. Mrs. Hendron was a Practical Nurse and a member of the Country Community Church in Kerrville. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs Aline Newbury of Kerrville and Mrs E.E. Alsobrook of Slocum; three brothers, John Prater, Fred Prater, both of Palestine and Doyle Prater of Houston; two grandchildren, Elaine Hurst of California and Chester Hurst of Comfort; and numerous nieces and nephews.
