Doyle E. Prater, 66, Angleton, he was born Sept. 10, 1920, in Anderson County, and was a World War II veteran. Mr. Prater was retired from Monsanto Chemical Co., and owner of Chiquita Ranch, in Brazoria County. He was a member of Sand Flat Missionary Baptist Church, Houston Association of Petroleum Landmen and American Association of Petroleum Landmen.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Martha E. Davis Prater; sister, Mrs. E.E. Alsobrook; two brothers, Fred Prater, and Kenneth Prater; and numerous nieces and nephews.
