Born in Frederick on Oct. 6, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Charles Herbert Eppley and the late Bessie Jane (Marshall) Eppley Wilcox.
She was a homemaker most of her life, and enjoyed cooking and taking care of her pets.
Surviving are a sister, Mary A. Rippeon and husband, Thomas L., of Frederick; a half-sister, Shirley R.E. Mullican of Frederick; a half-brother, John E. Wilcox Jr. and wife, Christina I., of Frederick; five nieces and six nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers,-- Charles F. Eppley, Marshall M. Eppley and John B. Eppley; four half-sisters, Lurabell L. Rothenhoefer, Helen M. Fellows, Sarah Matilda Wilcox and Margret Wilcox; one half-brother, Charles A. Wilcox; and three nieces.
Graveside services will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 10, at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Hwy., Frederick. Officiating will be the Rev. Howard L. Ruley of Parkway Community Church of God. Those desiring to attend may assemble by 9:45 a.m. inside the main entrance at Resthaven.
Arrangements were handled by Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick.
