Salt Lake City, Utah – Afton Johnson Brenning, 98, former Cheyenne, WY resident, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2012. She was born May 20, 1914, in Preston, ID, daughter of Ernest Carl and Laura Mae Packer Johnson. She married Roy F Brenning Jr. on Jan 21, 1939, in Logan, UT. Their marriage was later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She showed her love and kindness for everyone. She had a special love for children. She will be missed by all.
She is survived by children; Saundra F. Noce, Coatesville, PA; Robert Larry (Gaye) Brenning, San Pedro, CA; Georgia (Stephen) Kuhnhoff , San Ramon, CA; Roy F Brenning III, Orem, UT; Gary (Jill) Brenning, Orem, UT; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister Connie Adams, SLC, UT, and Pamela A Stewart. Preceded in death by husband; parents; brothers, Manual, Alden-Afton's twin, Voris; and sisters, Irva, Glenna, Celia.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 E 1300 S, SLC, UT. Viewing from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment will be at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E 4580 S.
