OGDEN - Celia Packer Johnson Paskins, 96, former Treasureton, Idaho resident, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, at her home in Ogden. She was born June 15, 1911, in Preston, Idaho, the daughter of Ernest Carl and Laura Mae Packer Johnson. She married Edward Alonzo Paskins on March 21, 1938, in Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was later sealed in the Logan Temple.
She made everybody feel welcome and at home. People gravitated to her and loved her. She loved her family, her children and grandchildren so much. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Bart (Carolyn) Paskins of Sandy, Utah; Kent (Joy) Paskins of Ogden, Utah (currently serving an LDS mission in Waveland, Mississippi); Bonnie (Jay) Christensen of Salt Lake City, Utah; Glenna (Bruce) Jensen of West Valley City, Utah; sixteen grandchildren, forty-five great grandchildren, and two sisters, Afton Brenning and Connie Adams both of Salt Lake City, Utah. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers, Manual, Alden, and Voris, and by two sisters, Irva and Glenna.
