Les was born December 8, 1932 in Preble the son of the late George and Doris Peavert Randall.
Les had been employed by Seven Valley Kraut, Smith Corona and most recently by the JM Murray Center.
He enjoyed farming but most of all his enjoyed playing his harmonica for his family and friends.
Les is survived by his children: Michael (Lori) Randall of NC, Mark (Maria) Randall of Utica, Timothy (Marjorie Sharkey) Randall, Jerome Shellings of Cortland, Jeffrey , Melissa (Richard Yantin) Randall-Titus of Binghamton, Honey (Ed) Grant of Binghamton, his sisters Stella (Roy) Bryan of McGraw, Alice Harding of Tennessee, special family members Naomi (Charles) Genson and Myshell Titus and Family. Several grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents Les was predeceased by his brother Jim Peavert and his ex wife Sally Randall.
Funeral service will be held 11:00am Thursday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. Cortland. Interment will follow in McGraw Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call from 5-7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the staff at Greenbrier Nursing Home for the years of care and comfort given to Les during his stay .
