REGINA ANN GEORGE BENTLEY

Regina Ann George Bentley, a resident of Jacksonville, Florida, and formally of Dothan, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. She was 95. Mrs. Bentley was a receptionist at the Houston County Courthouse, active in First Baptist Church, serving as director of Junior department for 30 years. She was on the committee of writing history of First Baptist Church, a member of the Dothan service league and a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Oliver P. Bentley in 2011. She leaves behind her daughter, Olivia Ann Tift and son-in-law, Tommy Tift of Atlanta, Ga.; One grandson, Matt Warrick and his wife Cheryl; two great-grandchildren, Mc-Kenna and Drew Warrick; one brother, John Alvin George of Davis, California; a niece and nephew that she raised, Lyn Tucker of Dothan and Jud Bentley of Montgomery. Ward Wilson Memory Hill Funeral Home, Cemetery & Crematory, (334) 792-4194, is in charge of arrangements.
