Services for Mr. Cornelius Adams, a resident of Bristow, Oklahoma will be Friday June 15, 2012 at 11 AM inside our All Faiths Chapel in Tulsa.

Cornelius Adams was born to George and Augustine Adams on April 17,1921 in Morris Oklahoma. Cornelius was a graduate at Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa Oklahoma where he met his soul mate Alice Patterson. He attended Langston University where he received his Associates Degree in Industry Arts. He was a member of the military in the Army, and an active member of Mount Herman Baptist Church in Bristow, Oklahoma. Cornelius enjoyed community service, his church community, family and cattle.Professionally Mr. Adams retired as an Electrical Engineer for FAA. Prior to that,, he worked as and engineer for Tinker Air Force Base. He also was President for The Eastside Oklahoma Round up Club for 15 years. For a short time Cornelius taught school, and coached in Fredrick, Oklahoma after returning from his service in the United States Army.Cornelius and Alice remained married for 69 years. On June 4, 2012 Mr. Cornelius Adams closed his eyes and entered eternal rest. His wife, Alice preceded him in death. Remaining to cherish his memories, his devoted son Jaun W. Adams, Bristow,OK, six grand children Shon Lane,Oklahoma City,OK, Eboni Adams,Jaun Adams,Tanesha Adams, Amber Adams, Timothy Adams all of which are from Wichita, Kansas, Six great grandchildren, Ashmar Anderson, Aaron Anderson, Elaina Adams, Zair Adams,Makiya Adams,Juleus Adams, along with other neices,nephews,relatives, and friends.
