Myrtle was the daughter of James Aquilla "Quill" Grafton and Bessie Bosley. Her first husband was Charles Albert
"Al" Singleton with whom she had four children: baby boy Singleton who survived less than a day, Albert Nicholas
"Nick" Singleton, Lewis Charles "Buddy" Singleton and Rosemary Ethel "Snookie" Singleton Jawarski.
Her second husband was John Stewart "Jack" Graham with whom she had three children: John Raymond Graham, Isabelle Elsie Graham Pumphrey and Helen Irene Sissy" Graham Taylor.
Her last four husbands and/or significant others were:
Grayson Riggs, Virgil Fair, Curtis Monroe and Robert Harris.
She lived in Baltimore for years and retired from Koppers in 1966 and moved to Dunnellon, Florida. She eventually moved back to Cecil county, Maryland and made her home with various children.
