Old Pioneer Passes Away
Nathaniel Ferrier, a pioneer resident of Lewis county, died Saturday morning at his home in Winlock. The funeral was held yesterday. Mr. Ferrier was born in Calloway county, Missouri on April 4, 1833, coming to Washington territory in 1875 and taking up a homestead in this county. Six years ago he disposed of his land and retired. He is survived by his wife and six children, Lee Ferrier of McCormick, Boad Ferrier of Raymond, Mrs. Jane Deveraux of Auburn and Mrs. Lucy Yarborough of Centrailia. Two brothers and a sister also survive, namely, James and John Ferrier of Vader and Mrs. Martha Williams of Webster county, Missouri.
