Myrtle L. Kutcher, age 88 of Kahoka, died Saturday, March 18, 2000 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
She was born April 21, 1911 in Kahoka, the daughter of Charles and Mary Hanslow Hamner.
Survivors include her husband Carl F. Kutcher of Kahoka; one son, Carl F. Kutcher, Jr. of Kahoka; daughter-in-law, Karen Kutcher of Florida; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Donald; three brothers, Clarence, Henry and Oval Hamner; and two sisters, Bertha Heinze and Gladys Young.
Myrtle was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ and formerly of the Women's Fellowship. She had worked for Cameron's Diner and later for the nursing home. For many years she had been employed by St. Clair Sundries and had also sold Avon products. She was very talented at crocheting and spent many hours making beautiful items.
