James Eldridge Hosmer, 55, of Birmingham, who died Thursday, was a native of Tuscaloosa. Funeral services were held today at Brown Service Funeral Home. Burial was in Powell Chapel Cemetery in Falkville. Survivors include his wife, Mary Lois (Stover) Hosmer; his sons, Glen Hosmer and James Eldridge Hosmer, Jr., both of Birmingham; his daughter, Sandra Faye Hosmer of Birmingham; and his sister, Ida Edwards of Hueytown.
