Matthews - Funeral service for Albert M. "Buck" Sutton, of rural Matthews, will be held today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Burial will be in the Matthews Cemetery.
Mr. Sutton, 84 years old, died Thursday at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Mar. 19, 1910, in Sikeston, the son of Marcus Hammond and Ella Green Sutton. He and Lucille G. Whitten were married Sept. 29, 1931, in East Prairie.
He was a retired farmer and former alderman of Matthews. He was a member of and had served as an elder at the First Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Louanna Bixler; a brother, Omer Sutton; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
