Obituary: Fred Feily, Bear Creek Supervisor 30 Years, Dies. Services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church for Fred Feily, 77, Bear Creek township supervisor for many years, who died yesterday at his home in Bear Creek township. He was born at Petoskey on December 26, 1883, and was a famer in Bear Creek township all of his life. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church, had been township supervisor for 30 years prior to resigning at the time of the last election. He was elected in 1927 and served all but two of 32 years. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Anna) Flach of Scotts, Michigan, Sister M. Julian of Manitowac, Wis., and Miss Amanda Feily at home, a brother, Elias, at home; a sister-in-law, Mrs. John Feily of Conway and several nieces and nephews. The body is at the Briggs Funeral Home where the Rosary will be recited tonight at 8 p.m. and friends may call. Interment will be in St. Francis Xavier cemetery.
