Mrs.Thornhill died Jan. 24 in her residence. She was born Jan. 27, 1908, in Lawrence County, the daughter of Abe and Emily Strange Nations. She had been a nursing home aide.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Whittington of Jayess, Mrs. Joan Wallace, McComb; McComb; three sons, Noel L. and Ronnie G. Nations of McComb, Ellis F. Nations, Nations, Jayess; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild; a sister Mrs. Pearlie Mae Thornhill, Jayess; and two brothers, Andrew Nations, Jayess, and the Rev. Lonnie Nations of Brookhaven.
