Edward Lee Nations, 67 year old farmer of route four, Brookhaven, died February 2 at his residence after a brief illness. He was the son of the late A. F. and Emily Strange Nations.
Services were held February 4 from the Union Baptist Church with burial in Union Cemetery.
Mr. Nations is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carrie Nations; a son E. L. Nations, Jr.: three daughters, Mrs. Helen Mason, Mrs. Calvin Williams and Mrs. Charles B. Smith of Brookhaven; six brothers, L. V., John, Bob, Andrew, Henry and Ervin Nations; two sisters, Mrs. Perlie Thornhill and Mrs. Tera Thornhill; and two grandchildren
