Alois Gibby Kearl, 78, passed away Tuesday July 13, 2004 in Bountiful, Utah. She was born May 9, 1926 in Riverdale, Utah the daughter of Alma and Eva Nora Whitear Gibby. Married David J. Kearl October 10, 1952 in South Ogden, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Alois composed music, enjoyed writing short stories and family histories. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-days Saints and had served in numerous callings. She is survived by her husband, David, two sons and three daughters; David Brent, Teri Lynae (Kerry) Ruth, Dana Marie Kearl, Bradley Paul and Mareva Mary (Steven) Gardner, ten grandchildren, brother Dean (Marie) Gibby and sister Artis Coleman. Preceded in death by a son, Whitear G. Kearl, one brother and five sisters. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday July 19th at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may call Sunday July 18th from 6-8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
