Shirley M. Cruse, age 76, Saturday, September 24, 2011 at The Pickering House. Born in Morgan Co., daughter of the late Riley and Elva Murphy where she was 1 one 12 children. Charter member Eastland Christian Church. Loved life, laughter, family, friends, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, the ocean, and the Lord.

Preceded in death by husband 43 years of blissful marriage to James W. Cruse. Survived by children, Mike Clawson, Cathy Cruse, Joyce Pemberton, Tammy Douglas, Terri (Mike) Patrick, Jim (Laurie) Cruse, Jr.; grandchildren, Ronnie, Jr., Christina, Sam (Amanda), Angela, Stephanie, Dougie (Shellie), Adam (Deana), Nikolai; great grandchildren, James, Peyton, Kennedy, Mia, Landon, Bristol; sisters, Pearl McGrew, Louise Weyrauch; sisters-in-law, Darlene (Dick) Emerson, Marylou Beddow; brothers-in-law, DeVere Ring, Bill Knox; best nieces and nephews ever; lots of cousins; special friends on Seabird Island, Port Orange, FL; special friend, Shelby Westwood; and my wonderful Christian family at Eastland Christian Church.
