William B. Murphy, age 48, of Bellville North Road, Bellville, Ohio, died at his home Monday, April 9, from natural causes. Mr. Murphy was born in Morgan County and moved to the Bellville area 11 years ago from Columbus. He was an Army veteran and served in Korea and was employed at Terminal Transport Company in Mansfield, He was a member of Teamsters Local No. 40 in Mansfield.

Surviving are seven sisters, Mrs. Marie Miller of Pennsylvania, Mrs. Louise Weyrauch of Dayton, Mrs. Faye Dudley and Mrs. Paula Tillis, both of Columbus, Mrs. Shirley Cruse of Baltimore, Ohio, Mrs. Pearl McGrew of Stockport and Mrs. Nina Ring of Columbus Grove, Ohio; three brothers Hobart of Pennsylvania, Bob of Columbus, and Virgil of McConnelsville, and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Murphy was preceeded in death by his wife, Alice Jean and one sister, Mrs. Rosemary Storey. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 14 at 1 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral home in Bellville, Ohio. Burial was in the Bellville Cemetery. The Bellville American Legion Post 535 conducted military graveside services.
