Hubert F. Beaver, 85, of 430 Eureka Ave., a retired service station owner, died of cancer Saturday at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Visitation 2-5 p.m. today at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home. Mr. Beaver, a Raleigh native, was a longtime member of Parkway Baptist Church. He joined the U.S. Navy, Army and Coast Guard and fought in World War II. Mr. Beavers was also a Mason. Survivors include: wife, Emma; brothers, Luther Beaver of Jackson, George Beaver of Jacksonville, Fla., and Galvin Beaver of Atlanta.
