Rev. Daniel Brown, died in Dayton, NY, Aug. 5, 1882, aged 69 years. At the age of twenty-one he professed religion, and united with the Hamburg, NY church. Soon after his marriage to Miss Fanny Perham, in 1841, he moved to Boston, NY, and in 1848, to Dayton, NY.
He was ordained in 1860 in the Freewill Baptist church. His ministry was confined chiefly to the Cattaraugus and Erie Quarterly Meetings and was characterized by earnestness, fidelity and self-sacrifice."
