Osgan was described as being handsome and always impeccably groomed. Shortly after marrying his wife in the early 1920s he opened a small hardware store at 5713 Spruce Street in West Philadelphia. He died at age 42 of acute mastoiditis contributed to by a cerebellar abscess. His wife loved Philadelphia but as she had a sister in Binghamton, New York, she moved there after her husband's death. Later she married Avak Kalayjian, another Philadelphian who had relocated to Binghamton.
