He was the son of Stepan and Elbis Artzerounian (also spelled Artzeroonian), his birth year is given as 1887 on the death certificate and 1888 on the grave. He was the husband of Siranoush Zopabourian. They were the parents of Manooshag Artzerounian Seraydarian and Berjouhi Artzerounian Studer. Osgan was described as being handsome and always impeccably groomed. Shortly after marrying his wife in the early 1920s he opened a small hardware store at 5713 Spruce Street in West Philadelphia. He died at age 42 of acute mastoiditis contributed to by a cerebellar abscess. His wife loved Philadelphia but as she had a sister in Binghamton, New York, she moved there after her husband's death. Later she married Avak Kalayjian, another Philadelphian who had relocated to Binghamton.
